When Amanda, owner of Amanda Michelle Designs, approached me about designing a brand for her lettering business, she was also going through a name change and trying to establish her niche market. She was expanding her business to include teaching workshops and offering tutorials, and needed a bit of coaching to determine the best direction to take.
While working through the brand workbook together, I was able to answer her questions and help bring some clarity and focus as she moved in to a brand new market.
Because Amanda is a lettering artist, I felt it would be appropriate for her to use her lettering in her logo. So I took her initials and made them vector artwork, creating a very personalized brand for her. She wanted her branding to be clean and minimal, while staying on-trend. To achieve this look we chose a cool palette of navy, rose gold and greys, with clean sans serif typography. For her website, we were able to combine her lovely color palette and typography with custom patterns and graphics for a very sophisticated and creative look and feel.
